Chad's Bio

Personal Bio –I am the son of two loving parents, Chris and Joy Jackson. I also have a younger brother, Travis Jackson. I was raised in Spartanburg all of my youthful life. I went to Arcadia Elementary School and graduated from Chesnee high School.
I am now married and we have three kids in our home. The oldest, Megan is 17 years old. She is my stepdaughter. We are foster parenting our second oldest Jessica she is 15. My youngest little curly headed sunshine Taylor is 1 year old and we adopted her as a new born. Then there is my loving wife, Tanya, who is supportive and understanding as my best friend and companion can be.
I belong to Bethlehem Baptist Church in Roebuck and stay active in my home church when at home. The Lord has been good to us with the doors He is opening and the opportunities He makes available to us to go and share the Gospel in song as we worship the Lord together. Our territory continues to branch out.
I have been washed in the blood and know that my eternity will be spent in Heaven with my Savior Jesus Christ. All thanks and praises be to God.
This is a little scoop on me.

Music Bio –After my life changing experience I was not sure what exactly the Lord wanted me to do with my new life. I knew I liked music and felt lead to serve the Lord in whatever way He so called. So I asked the Lord to show me what I should be doing with my talents and gifts. One night in church three people prayed about talents and gifts. I felt led in my heart to join the choir. After being in the choir for a while I was asked to go share the Gospel in song at other venues. Then I started getting invitations from other churches to come share the Gospel in song at their church. This was the beginning of my solo ministry.
I also started going to churches and singing with a missionary friend of mine, Gary Lawhorn. He was a big mentor in my life toward learning God’s word, which helped in my ministry.
Then one day, out of the blue, I received a call from Hugh & Joan of the Gospel Group, “2 – R – MORE”, who’s tenor singer had left them to again pursue a solo ministry of his own. Hugh’s sister had heard about this vocal member leaving and just strangely enough had found a business card of mine while cleaning in her home. This card was letting others know about my solo ministry and how I could be contacted. She called Hugh not knowing why she was lead but suggested that maybe he should call me about the position. I was interest and went to one of their practice session for a tryout.
Well the rest is history. I joined the group and we are growing by leaps and bounds. The joining has been an adventure every since. We know the Lord brought us together and formed the group as we are today. I give Him the praise, honor and glory for all my talents, gifts and opportunities as He makes the way possible for us to share the Gospel through song, witness and testimony.
